Sailing trip in the Cape Verde Archipelago?
Yes, absolutely!
We are not the first one who decided to live like this. Leave everything, buy a yacht and hit the road, but we had a dream..
Reconnaissance of the place, several debates with the basic question “Are we sure?”. The decision was made.
We set the Cape Verde Islands as the destination of our trip because of their still untouched nature and excellent conditions for windsurfing. We love water sports, Tomek has been practicing windsurfing for a couple of years, and as it turned out, I fall in love in kitesurfing. Additionally – wingfoil, for which we have the equipment. So if you want to combine active recreation with sailing, we are here for you.
We started our journey in Greece, and during the 3.5-month sailing we sailed the Mediterranean Sea, through the Strait of Gibraltar, the unconventional coast of Morocco, then the Canary Islands, and finally reached Sal Island.
The vessel we sail on is the Beneteau Oceanis 400. “Back Loop” is the first Polish vessel permanently anchored at Sal Island, in the Cape Verde archipelago. It has 3 double cabins.
We invite you to familiarize yourself with our offer, because the consistently beautiful weather together with almost ideal conditions for ocean sailing allow us to explore all 10 islands. Each of them has its own atmosphere, and we want to discover them with you. From underwater adventure, through fresh fish that we can catch and prepare ourselves, to mountain hikes with a tropical accent.
