Sail to Boa Vista

All our cruises start on Sal Island, which offers the best connections with Europe.
Boa Vista is the closest island to Sal, only 40 km away in a straight line. When sailing, we assume 5 hours from the starting point in Santa Maria to the town of Sal Rei. The entire island is the sandiest of the entire archipelago and is called the “Sahara of the Cape Verde Islands”. It is known for its sea turtles, and boasts 60 km of white beaches, ideal for relaxation.
Thanks to the conditions on the Cape Verde Islands, sailing is possible most of the year.

The price does not include food. The costs include a mooring at the buoy in Sal Rei (approx. €10/day), water (€25/500l), fuel according to consumption.

  • It is best to allocate 2-3 days for this trip.
