No. Trips are open to everyone, whatever your age or experience. The skipper is happy to hand you the helm and explain the basics, or you can just relax on the bow.

Yes. The 3- and 6-hour trips are for adults, teens and children. Children aged 3–12 pay a reduced price, and children up to age 2 sail free. We have life jackets for children on board, but not for infants.

We sail a Beneteau Oceanis 400 with an experienced skipper, in small groups (max 8 guests), and choose the route based on the day’s conditions.

Not much: swimwear, a towel, high-SPF sunscreen (reef-safe if possible), sunglasses and a hat. The sun on the ocean is stronger than it feels, and the breeze can get cool, so bring a light jumper or windbreaker too. For safety reasons, please go barefoot on deck. If you get seasick, take a tablet before the trip. Snorkelling gear, drinks and snacks are included on the 3- and 6-hour trips. For the sunset trip, you’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. A waterproof pouch for your phone is a good idea.

Yes. Tomek teaches wingfoil from scratch (gear rental available) and wave windsurf coaching, using KT (Goya) gear with a safety boat. A wingfoil lesson costs €85 per hour, or €300 for a 4-hour package.

In cash or via Revolut.

Your booking is confirmed with a deposit. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. The weather on Sal very rarely stops us from sailing.

We sail all year round. The wind is strongest in January and February, the best time for windsurfing and wingfoiling. The most pleasant sailing conditions are usually in April and November.

We can't promise, as they're wild animals. From January to April, in our experience there's about a 30% chance of seeing a whale around Sal. Dolphins are rarer: we see them on fewer than 10% of trips.
